Concordia Academy Sends Individuals To State Track Meet

The Beacons' Robyn Blount finished fourth overall in the 100 meter hurdles and sixth in the 300 meter hurdles

The Concordia Academy boys and girls track and field teams sent individuals to the Class A state meet on Friday and Saturday at Hamline University in St. Paul.

The Beacons finished the girls meet with 12 team points. St. Peter and Bagley/Fosston tied for the state title with 53 points.

Junior Robyn Blount finished fourth overall in the girls 100 meter hurdles, finishing in 15.60 seconds. Blount also took sixth in the girls 300 meter hurdles at 46.04 seconds.

Senior Ellie Larson finished tied for seventh in the girls pole vault. Her best jump was 10 foot, 0 inches.

Sophomore Anna Porch finished 15th overall in the girls 1600 meter run with a 5:31.53 finish.

On the boys side, junior Steven Zeller finished 10th in the boys 1600 meter run.
