It's Tapping Time!

Wondering how this crazy warm weather has affected trees and the sap for maple syrup? Come find out at the Harriet Alexander Nature Center next weekend, where "It's Tapping Time!" Join us on either Saturday, March 24 or Sunday, March 25 for a great family outing. We'll be there from 10am-4pm both days – drop-in when you want, stay as long as you wish.   Come along as we demonstrate how to tap maple trees, collect the sap and cook it to make delicious maple syrup. Learn about traditional syruping methods, listen to Native American stories, make a fun craft and taste maple treats. No charge for this sweet family outing!
