Join us at 7:00 PM to commemorate World Malaria Day with a performance by an African drumming and dance group, followed by Dr. Christie Hanson, Chief of the Infectious Diseases Division at the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), who will speak about global efforts to fight malaria in Sub-Saharan Africa. Dr. Hanson is currently serving as the Hubert H. Humphrey Professor of International Studies at Macalester College. Coffee and dessert will be served following the talk.
