Football Friday: Roseville's Concordia Academy at Breck

LAST WEEK

Breck (2-0, 0-0 Tri-Metro West) rolled over Brooklyn Center 49-6; Concordia Academy (1-1, 0-0 Tri-Metro East) beat Minnehaha Academy 34-21.

PLAYMAKERS

-Dan Hartman (Concordia Academy, quarterback)
Hartman had his second straight big game, throwing for 244 yards and two scores on 17-for-29 passing against Minnehaha Academy. The senior now has 450 yards passing on the season.

-Christian Koehn (Concordia Academy, running back)
Koehn struggled in the opener–24 yards on 15 carries—but turned that around in a big way last week. The senior workhorse broke loose for 215 yards and three scores on 39 carries.

-Austin Lommen (Breck, quarterback)
Lommen was 15-for-28 for 307 yards and five touchdowns against Brooklyn Center a week ago, giving him 588 yards and eight touchdowns on the season.

BEACONS WIN IF …

They can slow down Breck's passing game. Mustangs QB Lommen has shredded a pair of defenses already, and the Beacons need to halt that trend to be in the game.

MUSTANGS WIN IF …

They stop Koehn, which is no easy task. Minnehaha Academy couldn't even slow him down last week, and the Beacons beat them as a result.
