Concordia Academy-Roseville (2-1, 0-0 Tri-Metro East) downed Breck 43-34; St. Anthony Village (2-1, 0-0 Tri-Metro East) beat Minnehaha Academy 35-7.

PLAYMAKERS

-Dan Hartman (Concordia Academy, quarterback)

After a 14-for-21, 219-yard effort against Breck, Hartman has thrown for 669 yards and eight touchdowns through three games.

-Jake Beasy/Christian Koehn (Concordia Academy, running backs)

Beasy was a workhorse for the Beacons last week, carrying 26 times for 138 yards. Koehn is coming back from injury and should be able to share some of that load this week.

-Lorin Edmund (Concordia Academy, wide receiver)

Edmund caught seven balls for 150 yards and three scores, including the last two touchdowns of the game against Breck.

-Jordan Wiggins (St. Anthony Village, quarterback)

Wiggins did not play last week, but is expected back for the Tri-Metro East opener.

BEACONS WIN IF …

“Concordia will win if we can be more physical on both offensive and defensive fronts than St. Anthony,” Beacons coach Brian Brown said. “St. Anthony is a very physical team that can wear on teams.”
