Get Out in Roseville

Roseville's weekend entertainment guide to comics, religion and Buddy Holly.

Thursday, the one day Roseville Patch loves telling you what to do.




When: Friday, Oct. 14 at 7 p.m.
Where: Roseville Area High School
Why Go: Cheer on the local boys as they kick off against the Stillwater Ponies.
Price: $6 Adults, $4 Students




When: Saturday, Oct. 15 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Progress Center on the Minnesota State Fairgrounds (1621 Randall Avenue)
Why Go: Head over to the Midwest Comic Book Association's 23rd Annual FallCon Comic Book Party. The event includes free creator autographs, free parking, free portfolio review, door prizes, costumed characters, over 100 comic book creators and dealers from all over the U.S.A.
Price: $8 per adult, Children 9 & under are Free. Get $1 off with a canned food-shelf donation.




When: Saturday, Oct. 15 at 7:30 p.m.
Where: Maplewood Theater of Performing Arts (2100 White Bear Ave N, Maplewood)
Why Go: The Maplewood Theater for Performing Arts will be hosting a performance by The Shadows, a Buddy Holly and The Crickets tribute band.
Price: $25




When: Sunday, Oct. 16 from 12 to 3 p.m.  
Where:
Why Go: Volunteers from Feline Rescue will provide free education regarding feral cats in the area.
Price: Free




When: Sunday, Oct. 16 at 10 a.m.

Why Go: Dr. Anantanand Rambachan from St. Olaf College will address What Does my Neighbor’s Faith Mean for Me?
