Get Out in Roseville

Roseville's weekend entertainment guide to the fair, butterflies and athletics.

Thursday, the one day Roseville Patch loves telling you what to do.




When: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Where: 1265 Snelling Avenue N, St. Paul
Why Go: Get your fair on.
Price: $12 Adults (13-64), $10 Seniors (65+) and Kids (5-12), Children under 5 are Free




When: Saturday, Aug. 27 at 11 a.m.  
Where:
Why Go: Check out the varsity squad as they open the season against South Saint Paul.




When: Saturday, Aug. 7 from 1:30 to 3 p.m.
Where: Maplewood Nature Center (2659 7th Avenue E)
Why Go: Explore the butterfly garden, learn how to tag butterflies for research and partake in a craft.
Price: $4


Como Zoo & Conservatory

When: Daily, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Where: Como Park (1225 Estabrook Drive, St. Paul)
Why Go: Catch all the attractions before the summer season comes to a close. Main features include the Sunken Garden, Polar Bears, Como Town rides, and Sparky the seal’s performances.
Price: Free, however donations are greatly appreciated.




When: Sunday, Aug. 28 at 8 p.m.

Why Go: Wind down the weekend with the refreshing acoustic duo.
