Prosecutors: Chemical Dependency May Be Involved in Amy Senser Homicide Case
Amy Senser has been charged with vehicular homicide after a hit-and-run led to the death of a Roseville chef.

Hennepin County prosecutors are asking Amy Senser, the Vikings wife implicated in the August hit-and-run that killed a Roseville man, to release chemical dependency records, according to a motion filed Friday.
Senser has been charged with first-degree criminal vehicular homicide for her role in the incident.
Senser, wife of former Minnesota Vikings player Joe Senser, Edina, . Phanthavong, a Thai chef, had run out of gas on the Riverside Avenue exit from Interstate 94. He was hit and killed while refilling his gas tank.
The prosecutorsβ motion comes after the defense claimed that Amy Senser suffered a βsevere migraine headacheβ and petitioned the court to dismiss the case.
In the motion, the prosecution claims that text messages on Senserβs phone conflict with her account of the evening of Aug. 23. Additionally, the prosecution claims that there is a witness who may have treated Senser for chemical dependency, but will not speak out without a court order.
Senserβs trial is scheduled for April 23.
