Next time you experience serious rush-hour traffic in and around Roseville, you've got numbers to explain why.

According to the St. Paul Pioneer Press, a new report by the U.S. Census Bureau named Roseville the sixth-biggest "job magnet" in the Twin Cities. Roseville's population sees a 50 percent daily net gain from commuting, the newspaper reported, while bedroom communities such as Vadnais Heights and Little Canada lose population during the workday.

The data comes from the American Community Survey, which samples 250,000 households every month and uses sophisticated analysis techniques to extrapolate those results into community-wide trends.
