Rosefest Thursday Preview

A fine wine and food sampling event is among the marque activities on the sixth day of the summer festival.

“Taste of Rosefest” is the headliner among several events scheduled today at Rosefest, Roseville’s annual summer celebration.

The fourth annual fine wine and food sampling event takes place from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Central Park Muriel Sahlin Arboretum. The Roseville Rotary is sponsoring the event, which will also include a silent auction, entertainment and fundraising activities.

Other events today include: steamroller art from 5 to 8 p.m. at Central Park at Lexington; Touch-A-Truck from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Central Park at Lexington and the Teddy Bear Band for children and parents  at 7:15 p.m. at Central Park Frank Rog Amphitheatre.

After Thursday, Rosefest continues for another four days, concluding on July 4 with a fireworks show. A full schedule of remaining activities and events is available on the city Web site.
