Rosetown Legion Falls In District Play
Rosetown must win out in the double-elimination tournament to reach state
The Rosetown American Legion baseball team lost a 9-3 decision to Tri-City Red on Wednesday at Midway Stadium in the District 4 tournament.
The loss sets up a matchup against North St. Paul on Thursday at 5 p.m. at North St. Paul.
Rosetown opened up the double-elimination tournament with a 14-5 win over White Bear Lake Orange on Tuesday. But Wednesday was a different story as Tri-City Red racked up nine runs and advanced in the winners bracket. Tri-City Red’s next game is against Maplewood Green on Thursday at 8 p.m. at Midway Stadium.
