The and Roseville boys basketball teams entered Thursday night's game with identical 19-4 overall records and tied for first place in the Suburban East Conference with 13-2 marks.
At the buzzer, Roseville Raiders found themselves on the winning end in an emotional and physical game, prevailing 77-76 on the road.
During the course of the game, Woodbury lead by as many as nine points but failed to maintain the lead to a tough Roseville squad. While both teams still have two more regular-season games, the win Thursday night places Roseville in the top seed for post-season play.
