MVHC funds being considered for city asset management software, other items.

The Roseville City Council this week discussed how to spend the $425,000 in funds the city has available from the MVHC (Market Value Homestead Credit) levy and employee health care cost savings.
The $425,000 figure is equivalent to about half of the levy tax increase.
The council is considering spending the amount on some of the following items:
- $145,000 to re-establish funding for the Park Improvement Program to current levels.
- $220,000 to provide for cost-of-living-adjustments (COLA) for all employees.
- $30,000 to conduct an employee compensation and comparison study.
- $30,000 for General Fundβs portion of Asset Management Software.
- $15,000 to accommodate higher than expected fuel prices.
- $9,500 for a membership in Metro Cities (formerly the Association of Metropolitan Municipalities).
