A pair of Roseville teams competed on Tuesday in a preseason scrimmage at Roseville Area High School.

The Roseville Area volleyball team and the Concordia Academy volleyball team both competed in a local five-team scrimmage. No scores were kept, because the point of the scrimmage was to give the teams a chance to prepare for the upcoming volleyball season.

Roseville begins its regular season at White Bear Lake on Tuesday for a 7 p.m. match.

Concordia Academy has one more scrimmage at Apple Valley on Aug. 27. The Beacons open up their season on Sept. 1 on the road against Cretin-Derham Hall.
