Roseville Council Preview July 9: Twin Lakes Wal-Mart on the Agenda

Agenda items include preliminary plat approval for the Twin Lakes Wal-Mart and a zoning amendment that would allow academic instruction in commercial districts.

The Roseville City Council is expected to rule on Monday, July 9 whether to grant preliminary plat approval for the Twin Lakes Wal-Mart. The proposed 160,000 square-foot discount store has caused some citizens to balk, and the council will likely forward to the Planning Commission two appeals it received contesting the city staff’s determination that the store is permitted under the city’s zoning code.

Other items at Monday's meeting include a zoning amendment that would allow academic instruction in commercial districts and further discussion of the city's neighborhood traffic management program.

The Council's meeting is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. at Roseville City Hall, 2660 Civic Center Drive. To see the complete Council agenda, click here.
