Roseville District Renews Bus Transporation Contract
Boards awards contract to Centerline Charter Corp.

The Roseville School Board this week renewed the district's transportation contract with Centerline Charter Corp., which has provided bus service to the district' students for more than 20 years.
Total cost is $3.5 million, a six-tenths of 1 perecent increase compared with the last school year. The contract covers 53 buses transporting some 6,700 district students each school day, according to district administrators.
School bus drivers have been cautioned to take bullying seriously and to report it, said Jan Vanerwall, district coordinator of transportation for the district.

“We tell drivers to get to know students, so they are comfortable reporting bullying,” he said. “But our drivers are reporters; they do not discipline students.”
