Roseville Finances Strong, Independent Auditor Says

Here is a round-up of some items that came up at this week's Roseville Council meeting:
- An independent auditor, Matt Mayer, from the firm of Kern, DeWenter, Viere, presented a 2011 report on Rosevilleβs finances. Roseville is in great financial shape and has improved from 2010, Mayer said. He noted that Rosevilleβs compliance was very good, with minor issues corrected immediately.
- The council interviewed and appointed Brad VanderVegt to the Police Civil Service Commission.
- The council received a report from Minnesota Green Step Cities about the cityβs environmental health.
- The council approved a maintenance agreement between the City of Roseville and the Rice Creek Watershed District for the 2012 Pavement Management Project.
