The Beacons faced a loaded field in the Tri-Metro Conference Championships. The event is a good tune-up for the Section 4A Tournament, which will also be held at Battle Creek next Thursday.

Steven Zeller – Concordia Academy
The senior finished 12th in Milaca Mega Meet with a personal best time of 17:11.9. He finished sixth in last year’s event and was 67th in the Class A state championships. He seems to be peaking at the right time.
Joseph Vallin - Concordia Academy
The sophomore finished 78th in Milaca Mega Meet with a personal best time of 18:53.9.
Caleb Knox - Concordia Academy
The senior was 109th in Milaca Mega Meet with a time of 19:44.0.
