From Friday, March 5 at 10:00 p.m. until Sunday March 7, at 10:00 p.m. Roseville firefighters will embark on a 48 hour journey of running/walking four miles every four hours. They are doing this to raise awareness and funds to donate to the MDA to support local families.

Muscular dystrophy causes a progressive loss of muscle mass and strength. Although there currently is no cure, certain physical and medical treatments can improve symptoms and slow progression of the disease. Firefighters across the country have raised money over the past 65 years to fund research and provide support for families.
