Roseville's McGough Construction Opening St. Cloud Regional Office
Rothstein named general manager for new location.

Roseville-based McGough Construction, one of the largest commercial builders in the Upper Midwest, said it is expanding its Minnesota presence to include St. Cloud.
McGough’s history in central Minnesota began with the construction of St. John’s Abbey Church in Collegeville in the late 1950s, the company said in a press statement.
Currently, the company is finishing construction of a major expansion at CentraCare’s St. Cloud Hospital, one of the largest healthcare projects in Minnesota. It has also begun erecting a new Integrated Science and Engineering Laboratory Building for St. Cloud State University.
“These new projects and our optimism about continued growth of the greater St. Cloud area market were the key factors in the decision to open an office at this time,” Tom McGough Jr., company president and CEO, said in a press statement. “We look forward to expanding our client relationships in the community and strengthening our existing relationships with local subcontractors, architects and consultants.”
Jim Rothstein, a lifelong St. Cloud resident, is general manager for the St. Cloud office. Jim has 15 years of construction experience, including a strong history of project management and a thorough understanding of the St. Cloud
Area construction market.
Rothstein said, “I look forward to broadening McGough’s presence in this market and expanding the company’s commitment to the community.”
Founded in 1956, McGough Construction is a family-owned business that also has branch offices in Rochester, Minn. and Phoenix.
