Seven Vie for Three Seats on Roseville School Board

Two incumbents face five challengers in Nov. 8 general election

Seven candidates, including two incumbents, will vie for three positions on the Roseville District 623 School Board in the Nov. 8 general election.

School Board Chair Lisa Edstrom, director of home health care and hospice at North Memorial Health Care, is seeking a second four-year term on the board, while Tom Ring, an assistant Ramsey County attorney, is running for a third term.

They will face challengers Christopher J. Heinze, Shoreview; Beth Kolodjski, Mike Boguszewski, Erin Azer and Kaying Thao, all of Roseville.

School Board director Shari Dion, Roseville, did not file for re-election. Filings for the Roseville Area School Board closed at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
