Suite Living Approved for Site at Larpenteur and Dale

The southwest corner of Larpenteur Ave. and Dale St. will house a 44-unit Suite Living assisted-care senior residential development following approval of a conditional use permit by the Roseville City Council.

White Bear Lake-based TOTI Holdings plans to build the two-story Suite Living structure at 621-637 Larpenteur Ave. A six-foot fence will separate the development, designed by River Falls, Wis.-based Frisbie Architects, from nearby residences.

Representatives of the developer addressed concerns from council members about using land north of Suite Living for parking before the conditional use permit was approved.

The Roseville development represents Suite Living’s fifth Twin Cities metro area location. Others are located in Blaine, Champlin, Hugo, Maplewood and North Branch.

In other action, the Council approved a resolution declaring a National Moment of Remembrance on the 10^th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

The moment of remembrance will be held at noon Central Daylight Time to coincide with the 1 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time event.

The attacks destroyed two World Trade Center towers in New York City and damaged the Pentagon in Wash. D.C.
