Theater-goers will be treated to a high-energy performance as the all-ages Rosetown cast presents this legendary classic on the stage high above the shores of Lake Como. Following pre-show picnics in the park, audiences will delight in Tevyeβs attempts to cope with modern influences that challenge the cultural and family traditions he cherishes. His spirited daughtersβseven of βem!βtest him with their resistance to his ways, while his wife skewers all comers with her sharp tongue.
One of the all-time most popular Broadway shows, βFiddlerβ features several classic songs, including: βMatchmaker,β βIf I Were a Rich Man,β βSunrise, Sunset,β and of course βTradition.β
Margot Olsen, one of the founders of Rosetown Playhouse and director of several of the companyβs productions over the years, is directing βFiddlerβ and is joined by Musical Director Derick Rehurek and Choreographer Kayla Schiltgen.
