Two Former Roseville Raiders to Take Part in Women's Frozen Four
Former Roseville Area High School hockey stars Bethany Brausen and Lee Stecklein are now on the Gopher women's hockey team that will play in this weekend's Frozen Four for a chance to win a second-consecutive national championship.

The top-ranked University of Minnesota women's hockey team with face fourth-ranked Boston College Friday in the NCAA semifinal round known as the Frozen Four, and two Roseville Area High School alumnae are a big part of it, according to a Roseville Review article by Brian Meyers.
Bethany Brausen and Lee Stecklein, former Roseville Raiders stars, are now Golden Gophers, and they'll be taking part in the Frozen Four this weekend very close to home in Minneapolis.
For Brausen, a co-captain on the U of M squad, it will be her second trip to the Frozen Four, according to the article. Stecklein is a freshman.

The Gophers are on an amazing 39-game winning streak that dates back to Feb. 17, 2012, and includes winning last year's national championship, according to the article. With just two more victories this weekend, they would successfully defend that championship.
