What's Happening on Black Friday in Roseville

The big Macy's Parade is over, the pro football games played and the turkey cooked, carved and eaten. So what comes next for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend? Black Friday.

And there are plenty of shopping opportunities for folks in Roseville. The Roseville Target will open at 9 p.m. while Best Buy and Kohl's will open at midnight. 

Following a growing number of shopping malls and stores, Rosedale Center in Roseville said more than 55 of its merchants plan to open at midnight on Black Friday, the traditional start of the retail holiday season. (Click here to see the complete report on Roseville Patch.)

According to a Rosedale flyer, the mall will have live music, giveaways and a contest with a chance to win a $500 Rosedale Center gift card. The rest of Rosedale will open at 5 a.m. Friday with strolling carolers, more giveaways and another chance to win $500 to Rosedale Center.

Roseville's other shopping center, HarMar Mall, will hold an arts and craft show on Friday, HarMar is located at the souhteast corner of Snelling Avenue and County Road B.

Meanwhile, here are a couple other special retail promotions happening on Black Friday in Roseville:

Chuck & Don’s Pet Food Outlet, is giving back to its customers, their pets and the community with free coffee, donuts and pet food donations from 7 to 9 am. on Black Friday Nov. 23.

Thet retailer said, "For every person that stops in any of Chuck & Don’s 18 Minnesota locations, including Roseville, between 7 and 9 a.m., Chuck & Don’s will donate one pound of pet food to Second Harvest Heartland or Red Wing Area Food Shelf. Love From Minneosota's flagship store in Roseville will hold a "Sip and Shop" event for Black Friday weekend. The store is located at 2465 Fairview Ave N. It wiill have Minnesota made wine to sip and food to be tasted while shoppers peruse the store for great deals, including 25 percent off of some merchandise.
