• County adopts TIP for 2027 (chisagocountypress.com) — County officials have approved the 2027 Transportation Improvement Plan, and while several major projects are funded, the CSAH 7 work in the Rush City area isn’t scheduled until 2029. Residents can attend an upcoming open house to learn more about that future project. Other road work across the county, including Highway 8 right-of-way acquisition, is also moving ahead. 
• Water Festival brings the kids out to learn (chisagocountypress.com) — Rush City groups like the City of Rush City and Rush City Lions Club played a visible role in supporting this year’s Chisago County Children’s Water Festival, which drew 600 fifth-graders to Wild Mountain. Students explored hands-on activities about clean water, safety, and conservation. Organizers are already inviting new sponsors to help mark the festival’s 25th anniversary in 2027.
