MINNESOTA — Minnesota sports fans have another huge playoff week ahead, starting with the Wild opening their second-round Stanley Cup Playoff series Sunday night against the Colorado Avalanche.
Game 1 between the Wild and Avalanche is scheduled for 8 p.m. CT Sunday, May 3, at Ball Arena in Denver. The game will air nationally on TNT and truTV, and it will also stream on HBO Max.
The Wild advanced to the second round after knocking off the Dallas Stars, while the Avalanche moved on to set up a Central Division showdown with Minnesota.
Game 2 is scheduled for 7 p.m. CT Tuesday, May 5, in Denver. The series then shifts to Minnesota for Game 3 at 8 p.m. CT Saturday, May 9.

The Wolves advanced after beating the Denver Nuggets in six games despite playing without multiple key players. The series will begin with Games 1 and 2 in San Antonio before shifting back to Target Center for Game 3 on Friday.
