Car Jumps Curb, Plunges Into Lake Como In St. Paul

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A car went into Lake Como in St. Paul Saturday afternoon.

According to police, the driver was going about 70 miles per hour through the stop sign at Maryland Avenue and Grotto Street, and continued west, hitting the curb at Como Boulevard and Maryland.
The car went airborne, struck a tree and tumbled into the lake, police said.
