College Knowledge Month Promoted at MTS Minnesota Connections Academy
Many of the K-12 online public school's 80 state-certified faculty came together to show their Alma Mater. Photo too wide, even for Patch.

The goal of College Knowledge Month is to provide every graduating high school senior with the preparation, opportunity, and support needed to apply to college. The statewide effort occurs annually during the month of October.
In support of its students and post-secondary education, many faculty from MTS Minnesota Connections Academy, which is headquartered in St. Paul, gathered to display their own alma mater attire. Its staff, which includes state-certified teachers, school guidance counselors, special education professionals, and administrative staff serve more than 2,000 K-12 online public school students across the state. The program meets the needs of students and families looking for an alternative to a traditional school setting—those who need a flexible schedule, learn at a different pace from their peers, need more individualized attention or seek a learning environment outside of a traditional classroom. Information Sessions are ongoing. www.connectionsacademy.com.
