Falcon View Connections Academy students visit Statehouse
Family Engagement Activities offer online students a different opportunity to connect and socialize with peers
(ST. PAUL, MN) - A group of students, parents and faculty from Falcon View Connections Academy recently travelled to St. Paul to visit the Minnesota State Capitol to learn about the history of the building and the state, as well as the political process behind the state government.
The tour featured various popular sites around the State Capitol including the Quadriga located at the main entrance, the Rotunda, and both chambers of the Minnesota Senate and the House of Representatives. One of the students commented their favorite part of the day was visiting the legislative chambers to see where lawmakers vote on policies.
In addition to the visit to the Minnesota State Capitol, Falcon View Connections Academy regularly offers field trips across the state and online tours to engage students in fun and interesting learning activities that also provide an opportunity to socialize with classmates.
