The Woman Killed In The Saint Paul Shooting Over The Weekend Has Been Identified
A 27-year-old woman was killed and 14 others were injured in a bar shooting on West 7th, less than a block away from the Xcel Energy Center.

ST. PAUL, MN — St. Paul police identified the woman killed in the shooting at a St. Paul bar early Sunday morning as 27-year-old Marquisha Wiley.
"She has the biggest heart," Wiley's mother, Beth, told KARE 11."She was a sweetheart." Wiley worked as a vet technician for seven years.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to raise funds for Wiley's funeral.

The shooting happened just after 12 a.m. Sunday at Seventh Street Truck Park, less than a block away from the Xcel Energy Center. Wiley died at the scene, and fourteen others were injured in the shooting.
St. Paul police say they arrested three men who were involved in the shooting:

- Terry Lorenzo Brown, Jr., 33
- Devondre Trevon Phillips, 29
- Jeffrey Orlando Hoffman, 32.
All three men are being treated for injuries at an area hospital but will be booked in the Ramsey County jail once they're discharged.
In a news release, Saint Paul police said multiple people called 911 and "frantically begged for help" after the shooting. Police said they found a chaotic scene in the 200 block of West Seventh Street around 12:15 a.m.
Police did not say where the shooting happened but the Seventh Street Truck Park is located at that address.
In a statement, Saint Paul Mayor Melvin Carter said the community is devastated by the shocking scenes from last night.
"As our Saint Paul officers work to bring those responsible for these senseless acts into custody, our work to build more proactive and comprehensive public safety strategies is more urgent than ever," Carter's statement continued. "We will never accept violence in our community."
At the scene, officers worked with good Samaritans to give first aid to the victims and to make sure it was safe for fire medics to enter.
"My heart breaks for the woman who was killed, her loved ones and everyone else who was in that bar this morning," Axtell said in a statement. "In an instant, they found themselves caught in a hellish situation. I want them to know that we have the best investigators in the country, and we won’t stop until we find the people responsible for this madness. We will do our part to hold them accountable."
