Hundreds Of Cars Towed, Over 1,100 Ticketed In Twin Cities After Storm: Report

The storm dropped nearly 9 inches at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport and more than a foot in some parts of the south metro.

Hundreds of cars were towed across the Twin Cities in the wake of Sunday’s snowstorm, with more than 1,100 ticketed after Minneapolis and St. Paul declared snow emergencies, according to KSTP.

Minneapolis towed 155 vehicles and issued 544 tickets between 9 p.m. Sunday and 5 a.m. Monday, the outlet reported, while St. Paul towed 128 vehicles and issued 602 citations during the snow emergency’s first night.
