I-35E, I-94 Construction In St. Paul: Stage 2 Begins This Spring

ST. PAUL, MN — As the weather slowly warms, the Minnesota Department of Transportation is preparing for another construction season.

Among the dozens of projects that will restart this spring is the one focusing on Interstate 35E and Interstate 94 in St. Paul.

In July 2021, crews began repairing and resurfacing I-94 between Western Avenue and Mounds Boulevard and I-35E between I-94 North and University Avenue.

In April, crews will do the same on I-94 between Marion Street and Mounds Boulevard and on I-35E between I-94 and University Avenue.

The public can learn about how this year’s construction will impact the area's traffic by attending one of two upcoming virtual meetings hosted by MnDOT.
