Joe Biden Narrowly Leads Trump In MN: Star Tribune/MPR/KARE 11 Poll
President Joe Biden is dominant in Hennepin and Ramsey counties, but he trails Donald Trump everywhere else in Minnesota, the poll finds.

MINNEAPOLIS — President Joe Biden narrowly leads former President Donald Trump among likely voters in Minnesota, 45 percent to 41 percent, according to a new Star Tribune/MPR News/KARE 11 Minnesota Poll.
Biden holds a 45-point advantage in Minnesota's biggest counties; Hennepin and Ramsey. But Trump leads everywhere else in the state, including the five other counties in the seven-county Twin Cities metro area, according to the poll.
Democrats are also less enthusiastic about Biden compared to Republicans and their support for Trump, the survey found.

Democrats said "protecting democracy" and climate change were their top two concerns, while Republicans cited the economy and immigration.

Trump came close in 2016, falling short by just 1.5 percent to Hillary Clinton. But Biden beat Trump by more than 7 percentage points when he sought a second term.
Last month, Trump spoke at the Minnesota GOP's annual Lincoln-Reagan fundraising dinner in St. Paul.
