Las Vegas Mass Shooting: Gov. Dayton Orders Flags Flown At Half-Staff

At least one Minnesota man was involved in what is the deadliest mass shooting in United States history.

SAINT PAUL, MN — In accordance with the proclamation issued Monday by President Trump, Gov. Mark Dayton has ordered all United States flags and Minnesota flags to be flown at half-staff at all state and federal buildings in Minnesota. As directed by Trump, flags will be flown at half-staff beginning immediately, until sunset on Friday, Oct. 6, 2017, as a mark of respect for the victims of violence in Las Vegas, Nevada.

In his proclamation ordering flags to be lowered, President Trump stated the following, "Our Nation is heartbroken. We mourn with all whose loved ones were murdered and injured in last night's horrible tragedy in Las Vegas, Nevada. As we grieve, we pray that God may provide comfort and relief to all those suffering."

At least one Minnesota man was involved in what is the deadliest mass shooting in United States history that left at least 58 people dead and more than 515 injured Sunday. The number of dead is expected to keep rising. The incident has already passed last year's Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando that saw 49 people killed and 58 injured.
