Man Gets Jail Time For Airport Brawl: Report

A brawl at baggage claim resulted in jail time for one Minnesota man, according to the Star Tribune.

ST. PAUL, MN — A man was convicted last week of charges in connection with a 2021 brawl at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, according to the Star Tribune.

Edward L. Triplett, 42, of Andover, must serve four days in jail, pay $378 and do 32 hours of community service after he was convicted of disorderly conduct and assault, the newspaper reported.

The fight between two groups off a Frontier flight occurred shortly before midnight Nov. 26, 2021, at Terminal 2’s baggage claim, KARE 11 reported. Video of the incident was shared thousands of times online and showed people punching, shoving one another to the ground and throwing stanchions, according to KARE 11.
