Minnesota Connections Academy Students Head to Wabasha
Students from the K-12 online public school and their families visited the Eagle Center during a recent field trip.

Students from the K-12 online public school MTS Minnesota Connections Academy and their families took an exciting field trip to the National Eagle Center in Wabasha. Through the Center's hands-on, interactive live eagle programs, guests learn the biology, ecology and natural history of bald and golden eagles.
Have you ever wondered, "How big is their wingspan?" First grader Grace L. of South St. Paul has and learned she has the wingspan of a wild turkey.
The school's field trips and community events offer students, who attend the tuition-free school from home, the chance to socialize with other students, family members and faculty. Connections Academy meets the needs of students and families looking for an alternative to a traditional school setting—those who need a flexible schedule, learn at a different pace from their peers, need more individualized attention or seek a learning environment outside of a traditional classroom. Real-time, virtual information sessions are available. To RSVP and for a complete event schedule, visit www.MinnesotaConnectionsAcademy.com.
