MN Dems Announce Delegate Results From Presidential Primary

Minnesota will send 92 delegates total to the 2024 Democratic National Convention. Here's how they break down after "Super Tuesday."

ST. PAUL, MN — President Joe Biden won 64 of the 75 delegates that were at stake in the Democratic presidential primary on "Super Tuesday." Uncommitted won 11 delegates.

Minnesota will send 92 delegates total to the 2024 Democratic National Convention; 75 delegates allocated based on the results of the presidential primary and 17 "automatic" delegates not bound by the results of the primary.

“I want to thank every candidate that put their name forward and participated in our presidential primary,” said DFL Chairman Ken Martin.

"President Biden’s overwhelming victories in Minnesota and across the country show that our party is uniting to defend our democracy from Donald Trump. The DFL will leave nothing on the table to keep Minnesota blue in this existential election."

District-level Delegates (49 total)

  • First Congressional District: All 5 district-level delegates will be pledged to President Biden
  • Second Congressional District: 5 district-level delegates will be pledged to President Biden, 1 district-level delegate will be pledged to Uncommitted
  • Third Congressional District: All 7 district-level delegates will be pledged to President Biden
  • Fourth Congressional District: 6 district-level delegates will be pledged to President Biden, 2 district-level delegates will be pledged to Uncommitted
  • Fifth Congressional District: 6 district-delegates will be pledged to President Biden, 3 district-level delegates will be pledged to Uncommitted
  • Sixth Congressional District: All 5 district-level delegates will be pledged to President Biden
  • Seventh Congressional District: All 4 district-level delegates will be pledged to President Biden
  • Eighth Congressional District: All 5 district-level delegates will be pledged to President Biden

At-large Delegates (16 total)

  • 13 at-large delegates will be pledged to President Biden
  • 3 at-large delegates will be pledged to Uncommitted

Party Leader and Elected Official Delegates (10 total)

  • 8 at-large delegates will be pledged to President Biden
  • 2 at-large delegates will be pledged to Uncommitted
