Man Dove Out Closed 2nd Story Window to Avoid Consumption Ticket: MN Police
Blood-stained glass on a second-story window and subzero weather lead a loud party call to turn quickly into a search and rescue.

Running from the police to avoid a minor consumption ticket turned out poorly for two teens in Wyoming, Minnesota. Had it not been for the police's search and rescue, at least one of them very likely could have froze to death.
Wyoming police officers responded to a loud music call Saturday night to find a house party of more than 150 people. Police say the call quickly turned from a loud party call to a search and rescue when a 20-year-old male dove head first through a closed second story window and fled into a wooded area in subzero weather.
The male was intoxicated and not dressed for the extreme temperatures, according to police. Considering the height of the window, blood-stained glass and subzero weather, officers shifted their concerns from the liquor violations to concern for the fleeing suspects health and welfare.

Several other officers from neighboring agencies assisted. K9 and a Minnesota State Patrol helicopter was called to the scene to help locate the injured suspect that was on the run, Wyoming police said on Facebook.
Much to the officers’ surprise, they came across a second teen intoxicated, unconscious in the woods and not dressed for conditions.

Officers quickly realized the teen's condition was not good. The teen began vomiting and showing immediate signs of hypothermia, as well as frost bite to his extremities. The 20-year-old male was transported to the local hospital.
Police said had it not been for the officers' searching the area for the fleeing, under-dressed teens in the subzero weather, chances are they would had never found the unconscious minor who fled to avoid a ticket and the outcome would had been much more tragic.
The subject who dove out the window was eventually apprehended, charged and booked in jail for fleeing.
