MN State Fair Will Host 3 Iconic R&B, Hip-Hop Groups

The show will take place on the last Saturday of the fair.

FALCON HEIGHTS, MN β€” R&B icons TLC and Salt-N-Pepa with En Vogue will perform this summer at the Minnesota State Fair’s 2026 Grandstand Concert Series, the fair announced Monday.

The show will take place at 7 p.m. on Sept. 5, which is the last Saturday of the fair.

With over 85 million records sold globally, TLC is the best-selling American girl group of all time. They have five Grammys and are known for their 1990s hits, including β€œWaterfalls,” β€œCreep,” β€œNo Scrubs” and β€œUnpretty.”

Salt-N-Pepa was the first all-female rap group to earn platinum certification. Their standout songs, still popular decades later, include β€œShoop,” β€œWhatta Man” and β€œLet’s Talk About Sex.”

With six No. 1 R&B singles, En Vogue remains known for hit songs such as β€œHold On” and β€œFree Your Mind."

The fair has already announced several other artists for its 2026 Grandstand Concert Series, including Bonnie Raitt, β€œWeird Al” Yankovic and Rod Stewart, with more to come.
