ST. PAUL, MN — A St. Paul police officer and a suspect were both injured in a shooting near a busy intersection Thursday afternoon, authorities said. The shooting happened just after 2 p.m. close to Cretin Avenue North and Marshall Avenue. No information about their conditions was immediately available. The St. Paul Police Department is expected to release more information Thursday night. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension has taken over the investigation into the shooting.
