Police Seek Public’s Help in Missing Winona State Student Case

The Winona Police Department is requesting the public's assistance with locating a 19-year-old Winona State student who went missing Friday.

The Winona Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance with locating a 19-year-old Winona State student by the name of Chukwudi Benjamin Onyeaghala.

Onyeaghala is described as being male, 5’ 7” tall, and weighing 135 pounds with brown eyes.

Police say Onyeaghala was last seen on video walking eastbound on Mark Street near the Winona State University Library at 9:51 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 7, according to a news release.

Onyeaghala does not have a vehicle registered to him and attempts to contact him via phone and social media have been unsuccessful, police say.

Anyone with information on Onyeaghala’s whereabouts are asked to call the Winona County Law Enforcement Center at (507) 457-6492.
