Saint Paul Police Investigating Fatal Shooting
Police also arrested a man Monday in connection with the incident, which happened June 28 near the 1000 block of Suburban Avenue.
SAINT PAUL, MN — Police have arrested a man in connection to a Friday night shooting in Saint Paul that left one person dead. Laurence Christopher Wilson, 37, of Saint Paul, was arrested on suspicion of murder after police asked for the public’s help identifying what happened as well as a possible suspect in the incident.
At approximately 8:20 p.m. June 28, police were dispatched to the 1000 block of Suburban Avenue for multiple reports of shots fired. When officers arrived, they found an unresponsive adult male on nearby Earl Street, according to a release. The man suffered a gunshot injury and was later pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim’s identity has not been released.
