ST. PAUL, MN — A $25,000 reward is being offered for information in the nearly four-decade-old disappearance of a Wadena woman.
Spotlight on Crime announced Monday that it is offering up to $25,000 for information leading to the whereabouts of Carla Beth Anderson or the identity of those responsible for her disappearance in November 1987.
Anderson, 23 at the time, returned to her Greenwood Apartments home around 8 p.m. on Nov. 13, 1987, after spending the evening with her mother and stepfather. They had dinner and rented movies. She never showed up for her noon shift at work the following day and did not answer repeated phone calls.

When investigators searched her apartment, they found no signs of forced entry or a struggle. Her door was locked and her purse was still inside. The only items missing were her apartment keys and her Hardee's jacket. One of the rented movies was still in the VCR.
Investigators do not believe Anderson chose to leave and have identified no motive for someone to harm her. Hundreds of interviews and leads have been pursued over the years with no arrests.
