The agent planned to purchase approximately 1,600 M30 fentanyl pills from Miller and Harris. However, Miller and Harris were planning to rob the agent, authorities said.

Miller and Harris met the agent in a vehicle in St. Paul. Inside a silver Volkswagen, Miller pulled out a semi‐automatic handgun with an extended magazine and a laser and pointed it at the agent's face. authorities said.

Miller and Harris told the agent to give up the money, according to investigators. The agent threw cash down inside the silver Volkswagen and got out of the vehicle, and Miller and Harris drove away, authorities said.

Other law enforcement officers followed Miller and Harris to a St. Paul home, "where they both ultimately surrendered," authorities said.

Inside the home was a loaded semi-automatic handgun and the $2,400 in cash taken from the agent during the robbery, according to investigators.
