State Patrol Seeks Semi After Man Seen Jumping Onto I-94 In Avon

​The Minnesota State Patrol is asking for the public's help in locating a semi that may have been involved in a fatal incident Wednesday.

The Minnesota State Patrol is asking for the public’s help in locating a semi-truck that may have been involved in an fatal incident Wednesday morning.

A pedestrian allegedly jumped onto eastbound Interstate 94 from the County Road 9 overpass in Avon, Minnesota at about 8 a.m.

The pedestrian died at the scene. He has been identified as 53-year-old Lloyd Stuart Parker, of Avon.

Witnesses indicated that a white semi, traveling in the right lane, may have struck the pedestrian and might not have realized they hit someone.

The semi was eastbound at the time and may have damage to its front bumper area. Troopers would like to locate the semi and the driver to find out what the driver may have seen.
