Here's How To Buy A 'Stranger Things' Purple Brontosaurus Hoodie

Rabid fans are eager to get their hands on Dustin Henderson's look, which was first available in the museum's Explore Store in the 80s.

SAINT PAUL, MN — Netflix's hit show Stranger Things created mass nostalgia for the 1980s, and the Science Museum of Minnesota's "Brontosaurus" hoodie — donned by the beloved and fully-toothed Dustin Henderson — is on sale. The sweatshirt he wore on the show is real, and first popped up in the museum's Explore Store in the early 1980s.

Attentive show-watchers noticed the purple apparel in the first episode of season two. Mr. Scott Clarke asks Dustin for a "drum roll" as he introduces future Dustin love-interest, Maxine "Max" Mayfield. Dustin, dressed in purple, shuts his book and obliges.

A social media follower tipped off the Science Museum to the sweatshirt’s appearance on Oct. 27, when the second season was released. Since then, the museum has been inundated with calls, emails and social media posts from fans eager to get their hands on Dustin's look, which was first available in the museum’s Explore Store in the early 1980s.
