Teen Shot Saint Paul Employee's Stomach In Robbery: Charges
A teen has been charged with assault in connection with an alleged Saint Paul convenience store robbery.
The Ramsey County Attorney’s Office Tuesday charged Jason Lee Sam with assault in connection with an alleged Saint Paul convenience store robbery where the on-site employee was shot in the stomach. He is also charged with two firearm-related counts. The victim suffered serious, non-life threatening injuries during the alleged robbery, according to county officials.
The incident occurred at Superday Gas Station just before 6 p.m. Sunday, according to the criminal complaint in the case. Also charged is Josmar Najera of Saint Paul with two counts of aiding an offender.
