The Ramsey County Attorney's Office Tuesday charged Jason Lee Sam with assault in connection with an alleged Saint Paul convenience store robbery where the on-site employee was shot in the stomach. He is also charged with two firearm-related counts. The victim suffered serious, non-life threatening injuries during the alleged robbery, according to county officials. The incident occurred at Superday Gas Station just before 6 p.m. Sunday, according to the criminal complaint in the case.
