Watch: Saint Paul Anti-Trump Rally
A large group of demonstrators began marching in Saint Paul Wednesday night in protest of the election of Donald Trump.
A large group of demonstrators began marching in Saint Paul Wednesday night in protest of the election of Donald Trump. The protest began at the state capitol before it made its way through city streets, blocking traffic and the light rail along the way.
Metro Transit tweeted that due to the demonstrations, the Green Line trains would not travel east of the Hamline Avenue Station for a portion of Wednesday night.
KARE 11 reported that an estimated 200 to 300 people took part in the anti-Trump protest.

Demonstrators were heard chanting "Refugees are welcome here," and "Latinos are welcome here." Protesters were seen setting fire to at least one American flag, KARE 11 reported.
