Watch 'Walking Dead' Instead of Driving Home: State Patrol
Were you drinking into the wee hours of the morning? The State Patrol says you should stay put and watch "The Walking Dead" marathon.

It's New Year's Day, and the Minnesota State Patrol (MSP) wants to remind motorists that the only thing that gets rid of alcohol in your system is time. Not drinking coffee. Or eating food.
Not splashing cold water on your face.
So if you wake up this morning after only a few hours’ sleep and think you can get home safely, think again.

"If your blood alcohol level is .15, it takes 10 hours on average to get the alcohol entirely out of your system," MSP said on Facebook. "Stay put and watch 'The Walking Dead' marathon or find a sober ride home."
